Spoken Word Ministry

(Communication Impaired Support)

To provide Christian Education and support to communicatively impaired community members and their families through support group meetings, publications, prayer, friendship, assistance, love, and special events.

Loving Fellowship and Spoken Word Ministry are in partnership with Texas Women's University's Communications Sciences and Disorders Department as a practicum site for their Communication Sciences students to obtain certification hours in Speech Language Pathology.

"Spoken Word" offers assistance to God's people through the ministry of the Word of God and fellowship.

Our award winning Director of LFBC's Spoken Word Ministry, Sister Karen Vardiman.

Sister Vardiman received the 2008 "Burtis-Vogel Community Service Award" from the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. This award was given to her at the 16th Annual Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation Awards Luncheon in San Antonio, Texas.
