MUSIC MINISTRY
Music opens the spirit of man to be receptive to words. Spiritual music, which exalts and glorifies God, opens the spirit of man to receptive to the Word of God. Throughout the scriptures you will find references to singing.
In the Old Testament, before the prophet could move, a minstrel was called to sing that he might be able to minister as the Word of God moved him. In other times, praise leaders would lead the army so that they would move spiritually and in the steps of praise. In the New Testament, the Lord tells us to sing spiritual songs. He let's us know that there is a difference between songs the are spiritual hymns and songs that are not spiritual. The Music Ministry of Loving Fellowship is designed to do the following:
- To exalt, to magnify, to exhort and give adoration to the Almighty God.
- To wash the dust of the world from the spirits of the people who listens to us by the lyrics, facial expressions, and worship mannerisms that we present.
- To prepare the listener to receive the Word of God.
- To assist the pulpit in the delivery of the Word of God.
